The ignition key is stuck in my 1965 Chenille SS. Can the key cylinder be removed without taking out the complete switch. Thank you for any ideas.

If the key is in the switch, you might try to remove the tumbler by finding a small diameter hole in the outer portion of the switch and insert a small drill bit or(even safer) a paper clip. With the paper clip in the hole, turn the key to the left.That should allow the key and tumblers to be removed. Lotsaluck. Larry
