Some of you may have noticed I am no longer posting on the board.

I have stage 4 cancer that is inoperable. The tumor that got me to the doctor is in my duodenum. I did not even know what that word was. It is the top part of the small intestine where the gall bladder, liver and pancreas mix secretions with the food you eat. Attempts to open the blockage that were planed to last 2 to 3 months, to give time for chemo and planning, failed in 9 days and I had a total blockage. That entire part of my digestive system is bypassed now, to give me time to get my affairs in order. I also have internal and external drainage tubing. Blood clots are the latest problem that has popped up.
My body can’t get much from the food I eat so I have lost weight and am weak and tired.

I have so much I want to do and little time to get it done. I have some good days and some really bad days. I will watch this thread and probably post on it but I won’t be replying to any other threads any more.

I enjoyed posting on the board and I hope some of what I said lives on after me. I did not want to disappear without letting you all know why I stopped posting.

For those of you that are wondering why you are not getting replies to your thread:

Did you give the model, year, engine, fuel system type, and transmission information?

If your vehicle has been altered from stock, let us know about that too.

I don't have much more to add than what I've already told you in private message. I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. I wish you and your family the best and that you have the time to accomplish what is needed. Hopefully you have other family, and friends nearby that can comfort y'all in the times to come and provide help if needed.

You have been such a huge contributor to this forum and will be sorely missed. I am certain that for years to come, your posts will help others as they search for solutions to their truck issues.

I do hope you'll drop in from time to time as your energy allows. If not I'm sure we will all understand. And, we will all absolutely miss you here.

Chevytech,
I am very sorry to hear of your diagnosis. You've truly provided a wealth of information which has, and will continue to, help others.

I am at a loss for words, but want to wish you well and for you to have peace on your next chapter, if you will, of your life's journey.

My thoughts are with you and your loved ones during this very difficult time.

CHEVYTECH,

You can be assured that your efforts here will definitely live on as long as the site is up. Proof that these bodies of ours may die but our spirits/souls live forever. Thank you for sharing this intimate part of your life with everyone and reminding us that we are all on our way somewhere. I will be praying for your strength and comfort and continued sweet times with friends and family. I am also praying that you have made peace with our creator and that you can feel a sense of confidence as you start this next chapter. No man's life deeds are greater than the mercy and grace of God.

You will be greatly missed.

I can't even begin to count how many times I recall seeing someone posting with a difficult issue, that would always end up getting resolved once you stepped in.

Also, I lost my father to this very Cancer in 2020. Godspeed, Chevytech....
