I'm still looking. All I was able to find was an AUVECO illustration of the bolt that attaches the molding to the front fender; 1 on each side.

The other clips were obviously similar to the 49-52 clips as I see that there are rectangular holes in the rocker panels of the '53 and '54 models that had the molding when the molding is removed. I think most people used the aftermarket ones that screw onto the rocker panel.

The part number of the clip below is 3698439. The clip that goes into the square hole in the rocker panel is 3698436; 7 on each side.

UPDATE:
I'll be the first to admit that I'm still learning the '53-'54 models. My Master Parts Catalogs all show a different part number for the rocker molding clips between 1952 and 1953. Yet, this box / label of AUVECO clips seem to lump 1949-1954 together. Maybe you '53/'54 guys can chime in. Can the clips that were used from 1949-1952 be used on the '53-'54 rocker moldings? Or is this a misprint? Can they be altered sightly to work?

I have the originals that I took off my 53 but have yet to find them. I also have a set of reproduction clips for 49-52. I tried fitting them on my 53 body but the tabs are too wide for the slots in the rocker panel.
I'm still looking for the originals for the 53.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE:
I was finally able to find an image of the 1953-54 rocker molding clip which somehow eluded me before. I am posting this illustration below that puts in juxtaposition to the 1949-52 clip. The AUVECO box above is obviously mislabeled.

The above illustration showing #2498 is available from: Restoration Specialties & Supply in Windber, PA (USA). It is on page 135 of their catalog. Contact them to see if they have the rocker panel clips. https://www.restorationspecialties.com/assets/pdfs...

I've been through their catalog from cover to cover and was not able to find rocker molding clips for 53-54. In fact the sale they had on eBay lumped 1949-1954 clips together (obviously a misprint on the AUVECO label) which caused me to question above if they are indeed the same clip, before saying definitively, that Restoration Specialties had the correct clip. This also prompted me to search their on line catalog to no avail; other than finding the #2498 front fender clip. I suppose contacting them directly couldn't hurt.
