No, two different companies. I have used both, and found both easy to work with.

both interiors are Ciadella?
Your photos say one is from CARS and the other is what was in the car when you bought it.

Ciadella has been around for quite a while. I’m wanting to go with an original style interior in my ‘55 but I’m not having any luck finding the ‘55-‘56 seat shell. I know the ‘57 shell is reproduced, the question is, will it work for my application? Or does someone make the correct one? This is not going to be a show car. Bad56, I see you have owned your ‘56 longer than I have owned my ‘55, only since ‘84.

Is this the shell?
https://www.classicindustries.com/product/all-year...

I purchased my interior from Ciadella a few years ago. Quality and fit are good. They were very pleasant to deal with.

There is a video floating around (by CARS) which shows highlights their seat covers vs Ciadella. Might want to watch that. I think we are lucky in that there are multiple good choices.

That’s the one. Good grief, what a price! The ‘57 shell from Ecklers is about half that. I’m not a fan of Ecklers, but sometimes a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. I had hoped to find a good used set.

had it since 1980,
it was $300 to the junk yard,
and $100 to the bank that had the title,
only pic I have of it when I got it home

I found the cited comparison video;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u6Rc4vDXv4

I am EXTREMELY curious about the huge price difference, where the descriptions sound the same (Cars Inc paper catalog has much more info than what I found in the online catalog). Truism: you get what you pay for.... but I see good reviews for both companies.

Cars Inc Ciadella
Side Panels: $845 $1599
Seats $805 $1599

I looked around, I do not find any reason for the price discrepancy.
Both are US made, but there must be some reason.
Very few 5-6-7 owners put original style interiors in the cars anyway, most are what I would say are modified and done at a local upholstery shop.
I go to a lot of local cars shows and I would say an original style interior is rare.
I don't think anyone could tell the difference in CARS/Ciadella interior when installed in a car.
I have CARS interior in mine, too me it looks original.
I myself removed the old original material in my car and I can't tell any difference in the pattern or the material thickness between it and the CARS interior.
But I still wonder why the price discrepancy.

On the wife's '56 I went with CARS Inc. This was maybe 3 years ago and just got around to installing. The quality and workmanship was better than I expected and the listing was sturdy. I saw that video and thus why I went with CARS Inc. The new covers were identical to the old one with the exception of the vinyl. The original vinyl had a pattern/grain the new was generic but the shade of ivory was spot on. Installed easy (used new batting and foam + a little extra for firmness).

One other thing, the door panels...that was a bust. They look great but the holes for the stainless trim between the vinyl/cloth didn't line up on the rears and was completely wrong on the fronts. Ended up skipping the stainless trim. On the last pic above if you zoom in you can see it's mismatched, looks worse in person.

VERY ODD on the holes for the SS. I had asked them if they were made in a way that I could skip using the SS, they said yes, so it is odd that there are holes for the trim.... and now I already bought SS trim..... Did you discuss this problem with them?
