Are you looking for the printer font style that was used by Chevrolet for their scripts, or are you looking for the metal scrips themselves?

Sorry I had to put them as an image file but they only show if you have them installed on your PC . If anybody wants any of these let me know and I'll zip em up for you.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, indeed, I am looking for these sort of "print fonts". Could you email me them at jz214@adelphia.net
Much obliged. They are very difficult to find, and your examples are the closest I have found to date.

The font you are looking for is a standard in Word.
Open Word and start a new letter. Then surf the different fonts available. Its called "MAGNETO".

Hi jz214 , I just tried to zip up those fonts to email to you but there must be a different method for extracting font files , I'm sure my comp guru buddy will know how , I'll ask him tomorrow and get them on their way.
Hi Ollie , Magneto isn't a standard Word font but it's great to have the correct name for it . Maybe you've installed some other software at some time with fonts in it and that's why you've got it in MS Word ?
While Magneto is close when compared side by side it's still quite different.

Stich: Thanks for the try. You might also be able to send them to me as an attachement of the actual file. They usually not very large. Look under your windows directory, and you should have a directory named FONTS. I also agree that Magneto, while close, still does not win the cigar. And yes, Magneto was not a standard supplied font for Word

Well, I thought it was pretty darn close.
No rabbits in my hat - I have standard Word in my desktop and laptop and both have Magneto.

I have the full Office XP and Office 2000 suites, and Magneto is not an included font in either.
Lots of programs install their own fonts to your machine's fonts directory, making them available in Word and any other program that uses fonts. If you have that same program (that includes the Magneto font) installed on both machines, you will see it in Word on both machines.
For more info on that particular font, try this page: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fontbureau/magneto/
The cost outright is $40 (sheesh!)...it was likely sold and included as a package of fonts available to programmers for inclusion in their programs, this is how you probably got it.
Though I'm not condoning this, you can simply locate the font on one machine and copy it to another machine.
Sorry to geek out on you there, but I'm a computer software technician by trade, it's my job to know this kinda stuff.
Hope that helps!
