I am wiring up my Holley HP TBI. Looking at the loose leads in the schematic, am I correct that since I am using a MSD 6AL ignition, the yellow wire is not used? Also,m the white wire is listed as going to the points output. Is that the same as conneting it to the wire from the tach output on the MSD?

Correct do not use the yellow wire with a CD ignition box.

The CD ignition box is either triggered by the violet (+) & green (-) magnetic pickup wires or
the white wire (crank trigger, Hall-Effect distributor or GM HEI computer controlled distributor).

Thanks Danny. I have to admit, I am still a bit confused, I have a GM small cap HEI distributor and I purchased the harness, (p/n 558-304), from Holley. I see from the wiring diagram the 558-304 harness has 2 wires. The white wire goes to the white wire on the MSD and the pink wire goes to switched 12V. There is also a white wire in the main harmess "loose leads" that the large wiring diagram says to hook it to the "points output". That is the wire I am not sure about where to connect it to. Thanks again.

Oops, the loose white wire isn't used with the GM HEI computer-controlled distributor.
Sorry for the confusion. Just follow the wiring diagram - Figure #4 on page 12.
