My neighbor is rebuilding a 56 Belair and is looking for a diagram that shows the wiring on the wiper switch. He has an assembly manual but it does not show the switch schmatic. Thanks

The wiper "switch" is completely mechanical (no wires). It operates a cable that operates the switch inside the motor. The wiper motor power is wired to the top side of the ballest resistor on the firewall. Link to electric wiper.

the only wiring on the electric wipers is the wire from the resistor where 12V is picked up to the motor. The dash control is the same used for both the vacuum and electric wiper motors.
