I was wondering if you could list all the cars and years that you can get parts/accessories from that are interchangeable with a 1963 Chevy Impala.
I know 61-64 Impala parts interchange but I want power windows and I think you can get them from a 61-63 Caddi? What about Pontiac? Any others cars that I should be looking into?

does it say what model buick, pontiac and caddi work or as long as it's that make the parts will work? Sorry I'm trying to seperate/understand your post.

Depending upon the parts and the car, you can go a very long way in either directionb with parts that will fit the car. That, of course, doesn't include things like bolts and nuts. some things, llike speedo parts, for example, go all the way back to the '49s and were used up until the electronic speedos came around. Other things like badges were unique to that year.
Have fun! Your local auto parts store has catalogs of what fits what. Also the junkyard has catalogs of the stuff they tend to sell of what fits what.

I guess I'm leaning more towards things like the power windows and power seats, accessories. We have a ton of jusnk yards here and I want to go look around and see but I need to know what cars to look, lol

my earlier post was for the electric motor only. i looked some more and the front windows must come from a convertible. it says the following windows will fit:61-61buick conv except electra,
61-64 chevy convertible,61-64 pontiac convertible,61-62 olds delta88 and s88 convertible and 63-64 olds convertible except olds 98.does not give one for rear window. my suggestion would be to find a 63 or 64 in a junkyard and buy everything including wire harness and controls. sorry if i misled you earlier.

But my biggest question now is will 62 grand prix power window regulators and motors fit the front doors of a 63 impala?

Things like window regulators and seat mechanisms are the same on all GM models of the same body style. So, 61-64 2 dr PW are the same for front doors & 62-64 for rears. Chev, Pont, Olds, Buick & Cad all work for front doors; rears shold be from a B body, not a C body (98, Electra, Cad).
