after driving for a while rpm guage goes crazy up and down rough ride can shift into nuetral and smooth out the rpm then throws code P0339 changed cks sensor to no prevail can anyone tell me what else could be wrong thanks

Pull the wire connector back off the CPS, look really hard at those pins, use a light if you have to, make sure all are clean and tight. Pull on the wires firmly, but not hard enough to bend the lock. Corrosion in the wire end can cause this.

thanks cdausa i use some electrical cleaner on the plug and so far so good runs great again no codes being thrown thanks again
